MODS Note: None of these performances appear on the "Anthology" CD's or DVD's, or any other official release that I can locate. Contrast Clause #1: Previously a version of the Houston shows (1965-Aug-19, both shows) were offered at: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=300739 That version was/is from the liberated bootleg "Live From The Sam Houston Coliseum", where this version is from the liberated bootleg "Ultimate Live Collection, Volume One". Contrast Clause #2: Previously a version of the Pennsylvania show (1964-Sept-02) were offered at: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=268206 That version was/is from an unknown Flac file set, where this version is from the liberated bootleg "Ultimate Live Collection, Volume One". Not A Contrast Clause: Previously a version of this liberated bootleg "Ultimate Live Collection, Volume One" was offered in September 2009. This files here are not from that offer, but are in fact a direct DAE (Digital Audio Extraction) from BP#'s original Silver discs. If you have any uncirculated SPIRIT shows, or better quality FM broadcasts than what's been posted here before, please share them. If you know anybody who has shows that fit this category that aren't on DIME, please dub off their stuff and share it. I'm trying to write a book on SPIRIT and need all the information I can get. I have a database of over 1500 gigs 1967-1996, and want to find as much information as I can to add to it. If you have any memories of where you saw SPIRIT, the more specific the better (venue, city, date, supporting bands, etc.), I'd love to know that as well. Please leave that in the comments section or PM me. Thank you! 2 - Show description & comments follow: I'm rather surprised that this one isn't on DIME, as I don't think it's all that rare. They are all primitive, but decent sounding soundboard recordings of the Fab 4. Lots of screaming girls for sure! The liner notes claim "The tapes used for this CD-set are copies of the original legitimate master tapes. The original master tapes are not owned by EMI or Capitol Records". While I never believe a bootlegger's claims, this one may be true. Enjoy. bpthree ---------- ---------- ---------- ------- PLEASE KEEP THIS LOSSLESS!!! Support the artist!!
