THE BEATLES The Peter Seller Tape (master edition) Speed Corrected and EQ'd by MasterJedi. So this one was already pretty good, but someone had done a bit of a hack job on speed correcting the tracks. The worst case was the correction of Don't Pass Me By to the speed of the stereo version. The original speed was easily obtained from the sub 16kHz tone that was present during one of the transfers. All track speeds are now back to the way they were originally. Also, the EQ was off compared to the released mono mixes. The Spank release and the earlier Masterdisc release both had added extreme high frequency emphasis, but only on higher amplitudes. This was most noticeable on fade-outs and quieter tracks, especially Blackbird, causing an annoying amplitude "pumping". This was also fixed after much trial and error. Several dropouts have also been fixed. MJ 1004
