Most of the tracks are from Camembert Electrique & Flying Teapot, except Flute Salad from Angel's Egg, This is the classical line up from the Gong Trilogy, space effect from Tim Blake, space voices from Gilli Smyth, Bloom jumping sax, lyrics are delirious as usual with Daevid Allen ...

... If you don't and need some fun , just get a try ...
WARNING : THIS RECORD MUST BE PLAYED AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE, AND AS STONED AS POSSIBLE ...
Have Fun !!!
note : virgin made a one off payment to the band in 1972 and never paid anything afterwards ... the only money get is direct from gas releases ... so if you planned to buy some Gong or Daevid Allen albums please buy direct to G.A.S : http://www.planetgong.co.uk/octave/gas/gasreleases.shtml

Notes: There has always been some confusion about CAN's Bataclan shows in January 1975. I have no idea if the only played the two shows on the 17th and the 29th, and if maybe they played two shows on one of those nights. Anyway, I acquired this show here in a trade several years ago and it came as "Paris January 75" with the setlist mentioned above which is clearly different from the showed believed to be from January 29, 1975 but may be a more complete version of the January 17 show recently reseeded by fbauer: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=480094

"FUTURE DAYS" - tour
source:
SBD recording
lineage: Sony UX100 (Chrome) -> Tascam 464 -> Protools -> AIFF -> FLAC
No compression or noise reduction used at all
note:
this is the first digitisation of this cassette which came from a trader in the early 90's.
It has been in storage since 1995 and just rediscovered. Its nowhere near the fidelity of the '73 Edinburgh show which I seeded recently but of historial interest to all of those who like Can in this initial post Damo period
and before they had dedicated vocalists again. Michael Karoli features on vocals here and there but its mostly instrumentals with some themes from 'Soon over Babluma'.
I am going by the date on the cassette but stating that I notice that it doesn't correlate with any of the dates on the excellent Can resource at http://all-blues.de/music/kraut/canlive.htm
The song lengths, however, almost match the listings for the Bataclan 1975-01-29 performance. Hence it could be that this recorded set could be that one but unless someone can confirm empirically with a copy of the 29th Jan show I am staying with the date that came with the tape.
In regards its audio qualities it is a reasonable mixing desk recording but possibly because of low levels in previous transfers it has a slightly muffled quality here and there plus a layer of hiss.
The original cassette speed was about 5% too fast so that was attended to with the pitch control on the Tascam and the overall stereo levels were volume boosted to minimise noise. There is not much in the way of cymbals, its quite a dry recording but I'd welcome someone having a go at remastering it unless a lower generation copy could be upped. As with other recent ups I haven't seen this recording on DIME during the time I've been on here nor through searches. However it may well have made an appearance before from another source. Its a funky show so in any case please enjoy!

NotesGong, Paris-Fr Bataclan 30 january 1976, FM master Pt1
Please, read the following notes (hope i'll can explain clearly).
A previous upload from a broadcast of this show was made by Hanwaker, the source was a cassette recorded by
Bulle75; this torrent is not on the tracker anymore.
Going through some 40 years old reels of mine, i recently discovered a recording of this show and tried to know if this could be kind of upgrade.
With the precious help of Finkployd49 and Urich21 (THE Canterbury man), i understood that France Musique radio station made 2 broadcasts of the Bataclan show : one was recorded by Bulle75 and another by me (some tunes took place on both radio shows).
Mine features the beginning of the show and Bulle's, the second part of the broadcasts.
I learned another thing : after the first upload made here, the files were given to a record label and published as a CD available, for example, on Amazon.
That's the reason why i can't do an upgraded version with all the songs broadcasted (so, i called this torrent "Pt1").
The setlist of "Pt2" previously torrented was :
01 Cat In Clark's Shoes (in progress, my version is longer)
02 Wingful Of Eyes
03 Bambooji
04 Isle Of Everywhere
05 Drum Solo
06 Get It Inner
The setlist on this "Pt1" torrent is :
01 Didier Malherbe spoken intro
02 Eat That Phone Book
03 Chandra
04 Love Is How Y Make It
How to get the complete broadcast if you don't have the previous torrent ? Just PM me.
For this upload : Tape on an Akai reel to reel deck, to Zoom H4, SD card to audacity (volume and tracks), FLAC (TLH).
Thanks again to all involved.
Thanks, dime, to be Charlie.

The French DJ talks at the beginning of tracks 4, 10 and 14. He doesn't talk over the music.
This is complete with no songs cut. The tape flip was very quick during crowd cheer.
Stonecutter's 1st gen tape clocks in at 71:00 min. Appears to be pitch perfect. The sound quality is very good to excellent.
I did find 2 other versions of this broadcast. One that was 73:23 min. I noticed it played noticeably slower.
Which explains why the time length was longer. The second version I found was 69:36 min. I haven't heard that one.
I've always liked Blondie's music. It was unique and created a style of music all her own.
I had the chance to see her on the opening date of her 1999 tour. The only time I've seen her and yes, I did tape it.
So If you're a fan of Blondie and you don't have this date, now's your chance to own a copy of this.
Thanks to Rich for sending his tape to be shared.
